It Gets Worse will stream in the US on Paramount+, following the comedy series’ viral introduction featuring Andrew Scott and creator-star Leo Reich.
The six-episode show will be released in full on November 6, exclusively on Paramount+’s Premium Plan in the US. It will also be available on the service in Latin America, Brazil and Italy.
It Gets Worse centres on three university friends as they contend with humiliating jobs, unsuccessful love lives and a diminishing sense of hope. The series presents the difficulties facing young Londoners through comedy.
Interest in the programme grew after a clip was released showing Scott spitting into Reich’s mouth. Scott has a cameo in the series, which also features Lena Dunham and Amelia Dimoldenberg.
The cast includes Emily Fairn, Olive Gray, Sean Delaney, Dane Williams, India Mullen and John Tothill, who was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2025.
