Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she uses small amounts of Botox and would consider buccal fat removal, while insisting she has not yet undergone the more dramatic cosmetic procedures increasingly popular in Hollywood.

Lawrence, who is approaching 36, said regular facials helped maintain her complexion. “If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty,” she said.
She also admitted to being intrigued by buccal fat removal, a procedure in which fat is removed from the cheeks to create a more sculpted appearance.
“I’m really nervous about these fat transfers,” Lawrence said. “I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I don’t know about that.”
She added: “I mean, I would love to have a buccal fat removal. I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
The comments came as the actor discussed her approach to skincare and ageing in an interview conducted at the Dior Spa Hotel Cipriani in Venice. She said she had recently begun a “retinol journey” using tretinoin cream, alongside Desitin, a nappy-rash ointment, to soothe redness.

Lawrence has previously spoken openly about plans for a breast enhancement after the birth of her second child with her husband, art gallerist Cooke Maroney.
In an interview with The New Yorker published in October 2025, she said: “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back.”

Lawrence has also dismissed speculation that she has already had a facelift, although she joked: “But I’m gonna!”
She said even routine beauty appointments were difficult to tolerate, describing hair colouring and trips to the nail salon as “really, really boring” because they took so long.
“It’s not relaxing. It’s not fun. It’s really, really boring. It takes so long,” she said, imagining a future in which she could have a manicure and pedicure while driving or carrying out other tasks.
