A 29-year-old man from Lansdowne has died after being struck by a car and then a tractor-trailer in East Norriton Township, Pennsylvania.
Police were called to the junction of West Germantown Pike and Whitehall Road at about 9.10pm on Sunday, September 6, following reports of a pedestrian collision.
A preliminary investigation found that an eastbound vehicle hit the man while he was in the road. He was then struck by a tractor-trailer, suffering serious injuries.
The man was taken to Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, where he later died. His identity has not been released.
East Norriton Township Police are examining whether alcohol impairment played a part in the crash. The drivers involved have not been publicly identified and no charges have been announced.
