A man was taken to hospital after a shooting in Houston’s Brays Oaks area following an argument on Saturday night, 29 August.
Houston police were called at about 10pm after a witness reported gunfire near Bob White Drive and West Bellfort Avenue.
Officers found a man with gunshot wounds to his chest and leg. He was taken for medical treatment and is expected to recover.
Police believe, based on video footage they reviewed, that the suspect and the victim may have known one another. Investigators allege the pair argued before the suspect drove past and opened fire.
The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived. No arrests had been reported and neither the victim nor the alleged gunman had been identified.
The victim is described only as a man believed to be aged 24 or 25. Police have not released a description of the suspect, and said it remained unclear how the two men knew each other.
