Milwaukee will see a wet start on Wednesday, September 9, with showers and a few thunderstorms lingering through the morning before conditions improve and humidity falls, according to FOX6 chief meteorologist Rob Haswell.
Showers are expected to ease from north to south as the day progresses, with skies gradually clearing. Temperatures should reach around 80F, with south-westerly winds becoming westerly at between 5mph and 15mph.
The National Weather Service said the Milwaukee area could receive between 0.10in and 0.20in of rain on Wednesday, with a slight chance of thunder before midday. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast for late Friday night and into Saturday morning. Saturday could reach 82F before conditions turn drier, although some storm activity may pass around southern Wisconsin rather than affecting all areas.
A more unsettled pattern may develop from Sunday into Monday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible on Sunday, with the potential for stronger storms during the evening, while Monday is expected to bring a greater likelihood of rain and thunderstorms and a high near 80F.
