A 56-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly driving the wrong way along a Minnesota highway and narrowly missing a police sergeant in a head-on collision.
The incident happened at about 10.15pm on Friday, October 16, in Chaska, when the officer was travelling north on Highway 41 near Hundertmark Road. Dashcam footage showed headlights approaching directly towards the patrol vehicle.
Police said the woman was travelling south in the northbound lanes of the divided road. The sergeant swerved to avoid a crash, turned around and stopped the vehicle before it could continue further. The speed limit in the area is 50mph. ([fox9.com](https://www.fox9.com/news/minnesota-wrong-way-dwi-stop-woman-arrested-after-16-bac?utm_source=openai))
