Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona traded goals in a thrilling Champions League contest at the Parc des Princes, with Désiré Doué and Lucas Hernández putting the hosts ahead before Xavi Espart struck for the visitors.
PSG created the clearer openings during the first half, but Barcelona goalkeeper Javi Garcia kept his side in the contest with a series of impressive saves.
The breakthrough eventually came from Doué, who found the net with a powerful, quick-release effort from outside the penalty area to give PSG the lead.
Barcelona respond before PSG regain advantage
Barcelona began to turn the momentum after the interval and punished PSG when their high press briefly lost its shape.
Right-back Xavi Espart drove infield and exchanged passes with Fermín López before finding space to shoot. The 19-year-old kept his composure to fire past Matvey Safonov and score his first Champions League goal.
Barcelona were increasingly influential after the equaliser, but PSG restored their lead when Hernández rose to meet a corner and directed a powerful header into the far corner.
The goal left Barcelona facing another deficit, although there was still plenty of time remaining for further drama in Paris.
