A 35-year-old man has died after being shot inside an apartment at the Park West complex on Peek Road NW in Atlanta, Georgia.
Police were called to the complex at about 3.12pm on Friday, September 11, following reports that someone had been shot. Officers found the man inside an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Emergency medical workers pronounced him dead at the scene. The Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name. No suspect has been identified and police have not disclosed what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to establish what happened inside the apartment.
