A Houston man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after a pedestrian was killed in a collision in south-east Houston.
Milton Seymore Jr, 50, was driving north along Cullen Boulevard near Bellfort Avenue at about 9.45pm on Friday, 4 September, when his vehicle struck a 40-year-old man in the road, Houston police said.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. His identity has not been released while officers notify his family.
Police said Seymore remained at the scene and showed signs of intoxication. He was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
