McCallum opened the Central Texas high school football scores for Week Two with a commanding 48-0 win over Travis on Thursday, September 3, as the 2026-27 season gathered pace across the Austin area.
The Knights, who had lost their season opener 27-14 to Navarro, produced a much-improved performance to shut out the Travis Rebels in their non-district meeting.
Travis had also begun the campaign with a narrow defeat, going down 27-24 to Cedar Creek before facing McCallum.

Cedar Park recorded the biggest victory among the reported results, beating San Antonio Clark 68-7. Shoemaker also enjoyed a decisive night, defeating Del Valle 67-0.
Brenham overcame East View 59-9, while McCallum completed its 48-point shutout against Travis.
The remaining listed fixtures were Stony Point against Hendrickson, San Antonio Jefferson against Eastside Early College and Westwood against Austin High. No final scores were included for those games in the available results.
McCallum’s victory marked a reversal from last season’s meeting, when the Knights defeated Travis 52-13.
