Two people have been arrested after a search of a home in Waxahachie, Texas, uncovered 65lb of marijuana, suspected MDMA tablets and other narcotics, police said.
The operation was carried out on 28 August by the Waxahachie Police Department and the Criminal Investigations Division of the Corsicana Police Department.
Officers found almost 2lb of suspected MDMA tablets, concentrated THC wax and cannabis edibles at the property. Tablets believed to be oxycodone also tested positive for fentanyl.
One adult and a young child were at the residence when police arrived, while a second adult came to the property during the search.
Investigators also collected documents linked to suspected financial crimes. Vehicles and other personal belongings were seized in connection with that part of the investigation.
An adult woman and an adult man were arrested and booked into Ellis County Jail. Police said they face numerous drug charges, although their names and the precise charges had not been released.
No bond had been set. The investigation remains ongoing, and officers said further charges may follow.
