Israeli-Dutch AI company Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C funding round, lifting its valuation to $5 billion less than six months after it was valued at $2 billion.
Insight Partners led the latest investment, having also headed the company’s previous fundraising. Existing backers Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners took part again, while Salesforce invested in Wonderful for the first time.
Founded in early 2025, Wonderful initially built its business around AI agents for customer service. The company tailored the technology for non-English-speaking markets and has since expanded its operations to more than 35 countries.
A key part of its approach has been the use of forward-deployed engineers, who work closely with customers to install the technology and connect it to their internal systems. In some cases, engineers have worked directly from clients’ premises.
Wonderful has now broadened its offering beyond customer service with a product called Wonderful AI OS. The platform is designed to link AI agents, business processes and applications to a company’s data, existing software and integrations.
The company says the system can be used with any AI model and added to existing technology infrastructure, allowing customers to select the elements they need rather than replace their current systems.
“Customers can adopt whichever parts of the platform make the most sense, integrate them with existing systems, choose the best models for each workload, and retain ownership of everything they build,” Roey Lalazar, Wonderful’s chief technology officer and co-founder, said.
Wonderful said it would use the new funding to accelerate product development, increase the size of its forward-deployed engineering teams and respond to demand from customers seeking help implementing AI services.
